There is a reason behind everything, even if nobody bothers to identify it. Last night, after the kids were in bed, and it was just me and Momma, I got to thinking. Why did I start the The Cheap Biker? Took me a bit to put it into words but here it is.
Being a Biker is all about two basic feelings, the feeling you get when you ride, and the feeling you get from the camaraderie of being around others that ride. Bikers like to soak up those feelings and store them up to be able to put up with all the bullshit life brings. Few things feel better than the hug of a Brother, especially one you have not seen in a while, or one you know is having a rough time. Or maybe you are having a rough time.
That is my goal with The Cheap Biker. Whether we meet in person, you read an article here, or on Facebook, I want you to get at least a little of that "Biker hug" feeling. Maybe put a little smile on your face.
We will celebrate what separates us from "them", the ones who don't ride and wonder why we do. The things that are important to us like; funny shit, our bikes, our family, our way of life.
I want you all to be included, so whether it is a contribution of your favorite shop to Reasonable Wrenches or our RIP pages, we want to hear from you.
In a few short weeks we have begun to steam roll, lots of likes, clicks, and follows. Thanks for your support and keep the rubber to the road.- Sloth
